Sponsor Our First Trip

Our first trip to meet our girls is fast approaching. We haven't been given an official "buy your tickets"  yet, but we know it's coming soon!!  We have been SO grateful for all the support we've been given so far, we appreciate it more than you'll ever know!  It's overwhelming to think about all the people who have helped us on this journey to bring our daughters home!

Our fundraising efforts have been fairly successful, and we've been able to raise/save what we've needed so far, but now comes the portion of our journey where the costs are greater!   We are finding that airfare among other things is going to be more expensive than we initially thought they would be.  (Due to the fact that it's Summer!)

So, we need your help!  I have put our estimated costs of the entire process on our What Does it Cost?!?! page. Today, we're asking for help to cover the costs of our first trip. Due to increased and unexpected costs, we are short about $3000.

I'm going to be very real here and put the costs of our trip in this blog post.  I will also break those costs down into "sponsorship" levels.  If you would like to sponsor a portion of our trip, please make a contribution via the ChipIn on the side bar. This ChipIn goes directly to our Reece's Rainbow Family Sponsorship Page and allows us to track the donations/contributions more easily. (And gives you the option of a leaving a note with it - so we know what portion of our trip you would like to sponsor.  You can also leave a blog comment to do that as well)  As parts of our trip are sponsored, they will be crossed off.  You don't have to sponsor an entire portion, or even all of a "share" .  Just leave us a comment of what you would like your sponsorship to go towards, and we'll adjust the amounts as needed.  Any funds raised in excess of the first-trip expenses will be applied to our second trip.
